Joe Francis will return to the Quattro Group British Supersport Championship this season, signing for the Ready 4 Racing supported by Vision Team to line up on the Ducati Panigale V2, with backing from reigning champions Moto Rapido.

Francis returns to the Supersport Championship after recent campaigns in the Pirelli National Superstock Championship, joining the team alongside Brian O’Malley who will debut in the Tracker Kawasaki British Superteen Championship.

Francis said: “I’m super excited to be teaming up with R4R Ducati. I’m really looking forward to working with the guys, it’s very positive that we are all working in the same direction together.

“I can’t wait to get my first laps on board the Ducati and to get working with R4R. I’m very excited to be back in British Supersport, it’s a Championship I’ve had great success in before and that’s what I will be looking to do again.

“I’ve had a couple of difficult seasons and I’m excited to get back on track and fighting at the front. A huge thank you to Elliott and Gino for this fantastic opportunity and to all of my personal sponsors. It’s time to make it happen!”

R4R Team Manager Gino Rea commented: “The Ready 4 Racing Vision Team are very excited and thrilled to have Joe Francis riding for us on our Ducati Panigale in the British Supersport class in 2024.

“I have ridden on track with Joe before and we know his true potential. We really look forward to seeing Joe show what he can do and challenge up at the front of the Supersport pack on our Ducati.

“I look forward to coaching him in every aspect, from on track action, fitness to nutrition.  We believe that with the series winning Ducati prepared by the class Champions Moto Rapido, we can see Joe fight for the front positions, and we can’t wait to get started.”
