Luke Stapleford pipped Jack Kennedy to pole by 0.097secs ahead of this afternoon’s Sprint race at Oulton Park.
The Macadam Triumph Racing rider clocked a best lap of 1min: 36.595s to pip Honda Racing UK’s Kennedy by 0.097s to the top spot, as Harry Truelove was third quickest.
Reigning champion Ben Currie was fourth quickest aboard the Oxford Products Racing Ducati and will start alongside fifth-placed Alastair Seeley.
Cameron Hall was the man to beat out of the Cup runners, as he clocked the best time in class to star 20th overall. Mikey Hardie was second quickest in class with Tom Tunstall third.
Owen Jenner was the fastest of the GP2 riders, with Keo Walker second and Jack Nixon third.
