Ray back on top ahead of Ryde at Oulton Park in session four

Bradley Ray and Kyle Ryde returned to familiar territory as the ZYN British Superbike Championship returned for the final day of the pre-season R&G Official Test at Oulton Park this morning, with the pair locking out the leading two positions.

Ray was the fastest rider in session four for McAMS Yamaha, leading reigning champion Ryde by 0.478s as the Nitrous Coin Nitrous Competitions Racing rider prepares for his title defence.

Storm Stacey’s pace-setting time of yesterday remains the fastest of the test so far, but in the opening session of the day, the Bathams AJN Racing Ducati rider posted the third fastest time, edging out Glenn Irwin in the closing stages.

Charlie Nesbitt posted the fifth fastest time for TAG Honda, holding off Rory Skinner who led the Cheshire Mouldings Yamaha charge, whilst team-mate Danny Kent crashed out at Hizzys earlier in the session unhurt.

Scott Redding clocked the seventh fastest time for the Hager PBM Racing Team, moving ahead of Max Cook on the AJN Steelstock bimota with Lee Jackson and Christian Iddon completing the top ten riders.
