Max Cook set the fastest lap time so far at the ZYN British Superbike Championship R&G Official Test at Donington Park this morning, firing the AJN Steelstock bimota to the top of the times, displacing Bradley Ray from the top by 0.240s.
Ray had been the pace-setter initially this morning for McAMS Yamaha as the final day on track got underway, but Cook moved ahead in the closing stages to continue his impressive debut with the new bimota KB988 Rimini Superbike.
Danny Kent had a strong session in third place for the Cheshire Mouldings Yamaha team, with Josh Brookes and Ryan Vickers completing the top five for the DAO Racing Honda and Honda Racing UK teams respectively.
Rory Skinner made it both Cheshire Mouldings Yamaha riders inside the top six ahead of Leon Haslam and Charlie Nesbitt, with Jason O'Halloran and Kyle Ryde completing the top ten riders.
