Pirelli British Sportbike Championship: Durham pips Davidson to victory

02 August 2026

Asher Durham held off Alfie Davidson to take the spoils in today’s Sportbike race by 0.058secs as action concluded at Oulton Park.

Powerslide Suzuki Racing’s Durham started the 12-lap race from pole and led off the line – but Davidson was right behind him, moving to the front moments later as Cameron Dawson slotted into third with Carl Harris behind him.

Durham was back ahead before the start of Lap Four and he and Davidson traded places at the front throughout the race, in a scrap which ran all the way to the flag.

Durham led into the final lap but Davidson was right on his rear wheel, making a move around the outside as they exited Lodge for the final time and it was a drag race to the line, with Durham just beating his rival.

Behind, Zak Shelton was third and as Carl Harris crashed out from fourth place on the final lap, Lewis Smart took fourth at the flag with Ted Wilkinson fifth.
