Leon Haslam holds the most ZYN British Superbike Championship race wins at Cadwell Park in the series’ 30-year history and as the title chase reaches Lincolnshire next weekend (August 29/30/31), the ‘Pocket Rocket’ is determined to add to his tally of nine victories at the circuit.
Haslam has been a podium finisher with the Moto Rapido Racing team this season, but the top stop of the podium has eluded him so far, something that he is determined to put right after a positive weekend last time out at Thruxton.
Haslam said: “We have always had a really good run at Cadwell Park, I have good memories at the track and to still have the most race wins there and had the lap record for about ten years before it was finally beaten. There is always a great atmosphere there with the crowd. It is a big challenge but I am feeling positive ahead of the weekend. It is a demanding circuit, but with my past experiences there I am looking forward to it, we will work hard as we always do in the team and hopefully be fighting for the podium again.”
