Lionheart Moto Racing has announced the arrival of 19-year-old Australian rider Hayden Nelson to the team for Thruxton in the Quattro British Supersport Championship.

Nelson is set for his British Championship debut at the Hampshire circuit and will contest the final five rounds of the season with Lionheart Moto Racing.

Nelson said: “I’m absolutely thrilled to have the opportunity to race with Lionheart Moto Racing in the final five rounds of the British Supersport Championship.

“I’d like to thank the entire Lionheart Moto Racing team, their partners, and Dwayne for believing in me and giving me this incredible opportunity.

“I’m excited to get everything underway. We’re going to have a lot of fun while pushing for the best results possible as a team over the final five rounds.”

Dwayne McCraken, Team Owner commented: “We’re over the moon to have got this deal over the line and to welcome Hayden to the UK with open arms.

“We’re keeping our expectations realistic because we know just how competitive the British Supersport Championship is, and Hayden also has the challenge of learning several new circuits.

“That said, we’re excited by the opportunity ahead and can’t wait to get back on track and enjoy going racing again.”
