Joe Talbot continues his impressive rookie campaign in the ZYN British Superbike Championship and the AJN Steelstock bimota rider celebrated his strongest weekend so far with three top eight finishes at Snetterton.
Talbot has been building momentum as he continues to learn during his first full season in the Superbike class, and at the Norfolk circuit he delivered a pair of sixth places and an eighth place to complete his strongest weekend to date. Attentions now turn to Brands Hatch, and Talbot is now looking to continue the form into next weekend.
Talbot said: “The weekend went well for me, obviously the best weekend so far in the Superbike class and a solid result as a rookie. I was inside the top ten in all three races, which was nice, battling with some great riders and learning a lot.
“As the weekend went on I improved my consistency in the races, and each race as I continued to adapt my style, I am continuing to learn. I just want to say a massive thank you to AJN Steelstock bimota for giving me an amazing bike to race at Snetterton and I can’t wait for Brands Hatch as I believe the bike will be amazing around there too.
“If we can carry on this great form and stay consistent like we have been then I am sure the learning and adapting to Superbike will continue to become a lot easier so the team have done an amazing job and I just want to keep this momentum going.”
