McAMS Yamaha’s Bradley Ray is ready to come out fighting this weekend as the ZYN British Superbike Championship returns to Oulton Park in Cheshire, where they celebrated podium success at the season opening round in May.
After a challenging outing at Brands Hatch last time out, Ray is targeting an impactful comeback at one of his strongest circuits on the calendar on the Yamaha R1. The McAMS Yamaha team are determined to fight at the front and Ray enters the weekend with his sights set on hitting the ground running and carrying momentum from his set of three podium finishes earlier in the year.
Ray said: “I’m ready to get back to work with the guys at McAMS Yamaha this weekend. It feels strange to say we’re going back to Oulton Park already, it feels like only five minutes since we were there for the first round of the season!
“Since then, we’ve experienced a few hurdles which have stood in the way of the results we need, but the speed has been there, and we know what areas we need to refine. Last time out at Brands Hatch was a tough weekend results-wise. We’re more determined than ever to bounce back with a statement and show that we’re not out of the fight just yet.
“Our strength has been demonstrated in parts throughout the season so far, more specifically at Snetterton where we were able to get our first win of 2026 aboard the R1, set a new lap record, and cause some trouble at the front.
“There’s no doubt in my mind that we’re able to get back to fighting at the front at Oulton Park. I enjoy the circuit and have always felt fast there. This weekend, we’ll work in the areas needed to translate our speed into the results we’re capable of.”
