Ryan van Nieuwkerk proved yesterday’s win was no fluke as he doubled up to win this evening’s second Junior Sportbike race.
The South African had what looked an easy run to his second victory in just his first ever race weekend in the series, hitting the front at the start before clearing off in the distance.
Polesitter Laken Payne dropped down to second at the start and held the position all the way to the final lap, when he was mugged by both Luca Hopkins and Lewis Mullen.
Payne had to settle for fourth, as Ben Jolliffe crossed the line fifth.
