David Allingham has taken his fourth win of the season with a lights to flag victory in today’s slightly shortened Superstock race.
The original race was stopped on the third lap after a crash further down the field and a restart run over 10 laps.
Allingham who had been leading before the red flag, shot straight back into the lead past polesitter Simon Reid at the restart and was never bothered again as he stalked off at the front to victory.
Reid, meanwhile, sat in second position all the way to the final lap, when a move by Lewis Rollow dropped him briefly to third before he came straight back through and returned to P2.
Behind, Luke Mossey – who had been running fourth since the fourth lap – then made a move past Rollo who then looked to slow as the pack headed to the line.
Allingham won by 2.025secs over Reid, with Mossey third, Ash Beech fourth and Rollo who managed to hold on for fifth.
