Kyle Ryde claimed the final ZYN British Superbike Championship victory of the weekend at Snetterton, holding off the early pressure from closest rivals Scott Redding and Bradley Ray to make it three different race winners.
Max Cook got off to a flying start from the front row of the grid, launching ahead of Redding, Ray and Ryde with Ryan Vickers holding a top five position.
It was another disappointment for Storm Stacey as the Bathams AJN Racing Ducati rider crashed out at the Bombhole on lap three, having fought through from the back of the grid start to 13th.
At the front, Cook was holding the lead from Redding and Ray but on lap five Ryde made his move. He dived down the inside of Ray at Wilson and Vickers also saw an opportunity, making a pass into fourth, relegating Ray into fifth place.
A lap later and the leading five contenders shuffled again at Wilson; Redding attempted a pass for the lead on Cook, but the pair both went wide and it gave Ryde the chance to grab the lead.
Ryde then continued to deliver under lap-record pace to break the pack, but the pressure was on Redding with Vickers, Cook and Ray looking for the final podium places of the weekend.
On lap nine, Cook lost ground at Wilson after taking evasive action as he closed on Vickers on the brakes, which opened the door for Ray to make a move into fourth.
Redding was holding second with Vickers and Ray in close contention, but on lap 13 there was an error from the Honda Racing UK rider and it gave the McAMS Yamaha contender the edge to move into third.
Ray was closing on Redding for second place until the chequered flag, but it wasn’t enough to wrestle away the position on the final lap.
Vickers equalled his best result of the season in fourth place, with Leon Haslam holding off Rory Skinner for the final position in the top five.
Christian Iddon was seventh fastest after a battle with Joe Talbot whilst Jason O'Halloran and Josh Brookes completed the top ten.
