Dave Grace took the honours in this morning’s LCQ race as Sunday’s action began at Knockhill, as he beat Joe Carnell by more than five seconds.
Carnell had led off the line but Grace hit the front on the third lap. Carnell was then also deemed to have jumped the start – along with Leon Wilton – and both were handed a four second penalty.
Despite this, Carnell still took second behind Grace, with Luke Foreman third, polesitter Jim Lee fourth and Jordan Ashington fifth. Andy Booth was the 10th rider home to secure the final spot on the grid for the Main Event.
