Team SBR announce 1pMobile Junior Sportbike National Championship line-up

20 March 2026

Team SBR has announced a two-strong rider line-up for the 1pMobile Junior Sportbike National Championship, with Luca Hopkins joining the team alongside the returning Isaac Mark, and a title partnership with DKS Directional Drilling Ltd for 2026.

Steve Brogan continues to share his wealth of experience with the young contenders, working with Mark during his debut season in 2025, as he continued to build momentum as he learnt the UK tracks. He will be joined in the team by Hopkins, who was a podium finisher last year, and now the pair bid to challenge for the podium as a combined force.

Hopkins said: “I am really excited to be joining Team SBR in the Junior Sportbike Championship for this season. I cannot thank Steve enough for this incredible opportunity and I can’t wait to learn from him throughout the season, and hopefully this will translate into some great results across the season. It is cool to have Isaac as a teammate and I believe as a team, that we have the potential to fight at the front all season. I want to say a massive thank you to all of my sponsors for making this possible, especially Target Power generators and MasterMac Surfacing.”

Mark said: “I am happy to announce that I will be back with Team SBR for this season, it will be great to work with Steve and the team again. I have learnt a lot over the winter with Steve and this is my second year, so I know the circuits better and I feel stronger and hopefully it means that we can continue improving. I am excited to have a teammate and help each other along the way, I have been working hard over the winter and I can’t wait to get started.”

Team Owner Steve Brogan commented: “I am really excited to get the 2026 season underway and chuffed to be working with Isaac Mark again this season as he has learnt the circuits now, so I expect he will be much stronger this year. Also it is great to welcome Luca Hopkins into the team, he showed great promise last year and was on the podium, so hopefully between both riders we can have more success this season.

“It is great to be working with young and upcoming riders to hopefully teach them, which will hopefully be helpful as they move through the classes and onto the bigger bikes. I am really looking forward to getting started and working to get both riders on the podium this year. Also a big thanks to DKS Directional Drilling Ltd, our title sponsor for this season, and also our thanks to John and Debbie Moss as we are grateful for their continued support. We can’t wait to show what we can do together in 2026.”
