Jack Dunabie stormed to his first win of the year as he overcame rain and a safety car to beat Jack Burrows by 3.527secs.
As rain hit just before the race, Dunabie looked to get grips with it better than the rest as he stormed off the line from the middle of the front row to lead into Redgate for the first time.
He was able to get a decent lead built up in the opening laps as Burrows settled into second. Polesitter and points leader Ryan Frost, meanwhile, dropped back and was running in fifth.
On the sixth lap the Safety Car was deployed to deal with a couple of incidents. Dunabie had a six second lead which was lost and he had it all to do again.
At the restart, Clayton Edmunds made a move from third to lead into Redgate but Dunabie was quick to snatch the spot back. From there he was able to lead for the remainder of the race and took the win by 3.527secs over Burrows. Frost was third with Edmunds fourth and Harrison Day fifth.
