Kyle Ryde topped the ZYN British Superbike Championship warm up session at Oulton Park with just 0.207s covering the top three with Bradley Ray and Scott Redding in second and third respectively.
The session had begun with Storm Stacey at the front, but Redding then moved to the top of the times as Ray closed in.
Ryde moved to the top by 0.021s ahead of Ray and Redding with Stacey dropping to fourth at the chequered flag with Leon Haslam completing the top five for Moto Rapido Racing.
Glenn Irwin was sixth fastest as he bids to make a comeback after a tough day yesterday on the second of the Nitrous Coin Nitrous Competitions Racing Ducatis with Max Cook and Lee Jackson completing the top eight. Danny Kent and Joe Talbot held the final two positions inside the top ten.
