02 November 2026

Honda Racing UK has announced their three-strong rider line-up for the 2027 ZYN British Superbike Championship, with reigning champion Kyle Ryde joining Ryan Vickers, whilst Dean Harrison returns to the Superbike class for the forthcoming campaign aboard the all-new 2027 Honda Fireblade.

The programme combines championship-winning experience, proven race-winning pace and extensive knowledge of the Fireblade as Honda Racing UK sets its sights on challenging for the ZYN BSB title.

The introduction of the all-new 2027 Honda Fireblade gives the team a fresh focus for its winter preparations. All three riders will contribute to a testing and development programme and establish a strong foundation before the season opener, ready to arrive ready to deliver a strong campaign to fight for the title.

Scot Hargreaves, Team Manager, Honda Racing UK said: “As we look ahead to 2027, looking at our rider line-up, our machine, and the technical landscape ahead, it truly is an exciting time for me as Team Manager.

“In Superbike, bringing the newly crowned three-time champion Kyle Ryde into the garage alongside Ryan Vickers, who has proved his class with us this year and builds on very strong foundations. Then we have Dean Harrison, who delivered sensational Superbike TT victories this year, gives us an exceptionally strong squad. Paired alongside Jack Kennedy leading our charge in British Supersport to target another crown, we have incredible depth across the board.

“Knowing we have the reigning champion coming into the mix alongside proven race and TT winners elevates everyone. A line-up like this naturally lifts the team - everyone is heavily invested. It raises the bar for each rider, crew chief, engineer, and mechanic in the garage.

“What makes 2027 even more exciting is the arrival of the all-new Fireblade, combined with the championship's new technical regulations, including the Mectronik electronics package and torque-managed Balance of Performance. It’s a major technical reset for the entire paddock, but with an incredible new motorcycle, new electronics package, and four top-tier riders, we have total confidence as we push for championship success on all fronts.

Neil Fletcher, Head of Racing Honda Europe, concluded: “I think it’s fair to say that we have three incredibly talented riders signed for the 2027 British Superbike Championships. Adding Kyle Ryde to the Honda line up is really exciting, it’s impossible to ignore his talent, his pace and his professionalism. I hope his transition into the team is as smooth as possible so he can focus on what he’s been doing so well for the last three seasons.

“Ryan Vickers is an exceptional talent, a multiple race winner in BSB on the Fireblade and carries the advantage of having worked with the team in 2026. As if two front running superbike racers wasn’t enough, we’ve elected to run Dean for a full season of BSB as well. His dominant pace in 2026 on the roads proves he has the ability on a Fireblade and his front running pace in the British Supersport Championship shows his short circuit credentials.

“Honda and HRC’s commitment to developing Honda Racing UK’s headquarters in Louth, an all-new Fireblade and three amazing riders means 2027 is going to be a strong year for Honda.”
