Fireworks Racing set for 2027 ZYN British Superbike Championship debut with Kam Dixon

15 October 2026

The 2027 ZYN British Superbike Championship will feature a new team on the grid as all-new Norfolk-based Fireworks Racing make their debut with Kam Dixon, lining up with the Kawasaki ZX-10RR.

The 21-year-old from Norwich is preparing for his rookie campaign in the Championship, progressing from the Pirelli National Superstock Championship where he has claimed top eight finishes this season.

Dixon will continue to work with his current crew chief, Sam Palmer, who has supported Kam since he joined the Junior Supersport class. Palmer also has a proven track record of working with young talent, including Danny Buchan in the Superstock class and Ryan Vickers during his debut BSB season with Lee Hardy Racing.

Dixon said: "I'm really excited to have been given this opportunity to ride the Fireworks Racing Kawasaki ZX-10RR Superbike next season. 2027 seems like as good a time as any to make the leap into the premier class. The rule changes and Kawasaki chassis characteristics look to suit my riding style, so I’m super excited to get out on the new bike next month.

“I can’t thank Derek at Fireworks enough for believing in me and providing a platform to develop as a rider and show what I can do.”

Team Principal Derek Killaspy commented: “Motorcycles have been a lifelong passion of mine and sponsoring Kam for the past two years has made me realise that I wanted to provide the opportunity for him to be able to ride in the Superbike class.

“Alongside our technical partners, the goal is to enable him to grow as a rider and progress over the next few years. We are all very excited about the project and looking forward to an exciting 2027.”
