MPR Racing announce Brazilian Lo Turco for 2027 1pMobile Junior Sportbike National Championship

21 October 2026

MPR Racing has announce the signing of young Brazilian contender Enzo Tobias Lo Turco for the 2027 1pMobile Junior Sportbike National Championship aboard the team's Yamaha R7.

Lo Turco has been continuing to establish himself in the paddock, following his father Rhalf, who previously competed within the British Championship paddock.

Lo Turco said: "Joining MPR Racing to compete on the Yamaha R7 in the 1pMobile Junior Sportbike National Championship is a huge milestone for my career. Racing in the UK championship paddock has always been a major goal of mine; especially knowing my dad competed here in the British Superbike Championship.

“Mats and the team have shown immense belief in me, and I can't wait to start testing and working alongside everyone to build a strong championship challenge in 2027. I'm excited to represent Brazil on the British racing stage and give my all for the team throughout the season."

Mats Petersson, MPR Racing Team Owner commented: "We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Enzo to MPR Racing for 2027. We've been keeping a close eye on his progress and development over recent years, and he has demonstrated raw speed, dedication and a fantastic attitude both on and off the track. He is definitely a chip off the old block, following in the footsteps of his dad Rhalf, who we know well from his BSB days.

“With our Yamaha R7 package, we are confident we can give Enzo the ideal platform to showcase his talent and challenge at the front of the 1pMobile Junior Sportbike National Championship next season. Bringing Enzo into the BSB paddock will also bring some Brazilian flair and colour, which we are all very much looking forward to seeing both on and off the circuit."
