Pirelli National Superstock Championship: Allingham extends points lead with Race One victory

03 October 2026

David Allingham boosted his championship lead to 45 points over Luke Mossey after beating his rival by 0.398secs in today’s Superstock race.

Despite starting from pole, SMS/Nicholl Oils BMW rider Allingham dropped to second in the opening lap as Mossey hit the front on his Milenco by Padgetts Motorcycles Honda.

But Allingham wasn’t prepared to let his rival get too far ahead and dived underneath him as they entered the Loop for the first time, squeezing Mossey out and allowing Billy McConnell to come through into second.

However, McConnell’s hopes of fighting for a win lasted less than a lap as Mossey quickly found a way back ahead and then McConnell crashed.

This left a two-rider battle which went all the way to the flag, as Mossey sat on Allingham’s rear wheel all the way – but was unable to get close enough to make a move.

Allingham took victory ahead of his rival as Declan Connell was third, Ian Hutchinson fourth and Ash Barnes rounded out the top five.
