Scott Redding is ready to fight back in the hunt for the 2026 British Superbike Championship at the TT Circuit Assen this weekend (September 18/19/20) as the Hager PBM Racing Team rider bids to replicate his winning performance from last season.
Redding claimed a double win in 2025 and also in his 2019 title-winning season and arrives into the opening Showdown round this weekend determined to close the deficit to Kyle Ryde at the top of the standings.
Redding said: “I am really looking forward to Assen – the Cathedral of Speed, one of the most iconic circuits in the world with so much history. I love racing in Assen, the fans are always mega and the track is super cool and suits my style and over the years I have had great results there. In previous years and different championships, in MotoGP and also in Moto2, WSBK was pretty good too.
“Now we are in the Showdown I am hoping to get some more stronger results, obviously Cadwell was not what I expected; I got one fourth position but that wasn’t really a true result as there were so many crashes. I struggled a bit there, but moving on to Assen we have put the last weekend behind us and we are ready to put on a show.”
