Rory Skinner topped the British Superbike Championship times in this morning’s warm up session at the TT Circuit Assen this morning, firing the Cheshire Mouldings Yamaha ahead of their rivals in drying conditions.
Scott Redding set the benchmark at the start, but as the track continued to dry, the lap times improved and Skinner surged to the top by 0.430s ahead of Glenn Irwin on the leading Nitrous Coin Nitrous Competitions Racing Ducati.
Kyle Ryde was third ahead of Lee Jackson and Danny Kent, who completed the top five, as yesterday’s race winner Redding held sixth place at the chequered flag.
Josh Brookes held seventh place ahead of Eugene McManus with Bradley Ray and Storm Stacey rounding out the top ten riders.
