Biography

Dean Harrison is one of the most recent riders to join the Bennetts British Superbike Championship grid despite his extensive success on the international road racing scene.

Yorkshireman Harrison didn’t begin competing until he was 18, and just four years later he competed in his first Isle of Man TT, and then in 2014 he scored his first victory at the event.

Harrison has now celebrated three wins at the TT, including the Senior in 2019 in addition to over ten podium finishes. He has also stood in the podium at the Ulster Grand Prix and the North West 200.

Making his first race appearance in Bennetts BSB in 2017, Harrison and the Silicone Engineering Kawasaki team lined up for several events, but 2021 marked their first full season in the series.

Harrison believes that the experience in the championship helps to build his speed for the road racing, and in 2020 he edged closer to the top ten, with a best result of 12th place.

Harrison again improved his performances with more BSB experience last season, with a best result of eighth at Donington Park and now returns for more this year with the newly-branded DAO Racing Kawasaki team.
