Biography

Christian Iddon began his career in Supermoto, becoming a multiple champion before the time he switched to circuit racing.

Iddon has raced and competed at World Championship level, with seasons in both the Superbike and Supersport classes before he made his Bennetts BSB debut at Brands Hatch in 2010.

Iddon’s first full season in Bennetts BSB was in 2015 when he ended his debut season in tenth place in the overall standings. In the following seasons he was always in the fight for a place in the Showdown and narrowly missed out on more than one occasion, including 2017 when he won the Riders Cup.

Iddon’s most successful season to date was in 2020 when he joined Paul Bird’s VisionTrack Ducati team. He scored his first race victory at Snetterton and went on to end the season in third place in the final championship standings.

Iddon, who finished fourth in the 2021 standings after a brace of wins and an 11 further podiums, returned to Suzuki with the Buildbase supported team for the 2022 season after campaigning GSX-R machinery in 2015.

However after a tough season he returned to Ducati, this time with the Oxford Products Racing Ducati team and has been back on the podium at Brands Hatch.
