Christian Iddon began his career in Supermoto, becoming a multiple champion before he switched to circuit racing and has raced and competed at World Championship level, with seasons in both the Superbike and Supersport classes before he made his Bennetts BSB debut at Brands Hatch in 2010.
Iddon’s first full season in Bennetts BSB was in 2015 when he ended his debut season in tenth place in the overall standings. In the following seasons he was always in the fight for a place in the Showdown and narrowly missed out on more than one occasion, including 2017 when he won the Riders Cup.
Iddon’s most successful season to date was in 2020 when he joined Paul Bird’s VisionTrack Ducati team. He scored his first race victory at Snetterton and went on to end the season in third place in the final championship standings.
He later returned to Ducati, this time with the Oxford Products Racing team and was back on the podium. Iddon now heads into his second consecutive season with the team in 2024.
