Rising star, 19-year-old Franco Bourne will make his full-time debut in the Bennetts British Superbike Championship this year with the Rapid Honda team, who he has had previous success with in the Pirelli National Superstock Championship.

Bourne made his debut in the Superbike class last year, stepping into the factory Honda Racing UK team temporarily to replace Andrew Irwin, who was sidelined through injury after a crash in testing.

Bourne and the team have a long-standing history together, stepping up to race a 1000cc machine for the first time in 2023 with Marvel HCL Motorsport, the team with which he was runner-up in Junior Superstock in 2022.

2020 Honda British Talent Cup champion Bourne, scored podium finishes in his debut season in the Pirelli National Superstock Championship in 2023, including a race win at Silverstone.
