Biography

Tom Neave returns to the Bennetts British Superbike Championship last season, the 26-year old has previously competed in the Junior Flattrack Championship and the Mini Bike Flattrack Championship - both of which he won and also the 2021 Pirelli National Superstock title.

Neave then competed in the Thundersport GB minitwin series before graduating to the Thundersport Elite 600 series and in 2016 he moved into the National Superstock 600 Championship. The next year he finished fifth in National Superstock scoring three wins.

In 2018, Neave moved into the National Superstock 1000 Championship, although missing rounds due to injury; he finished second at Knockhill and third at Brands Hatch. In the same year he debuted for Honda Racing after being drafted in to ride the Superbike for injured rider Dan Linfoot.

2019 was his first-full year with the Honda team in the National Superstock class but his season came to a premature end when he crashed out at the penultimate round of the championship fracturing his left foot, to see him wrap up the season seventh overall.

During the 2020 season, he impressed in what was the debut year for the new Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP, where in the Superstock 1000 class he scored more race wins than any of his rivals, narrowly missing out on the title to finish as runner-up.

After a mixed start plagued with illness and recovery from knee surgery, he lifted the 2021 Superstock crown after a thrilling end to the season. Scoring race wins and podiums, he now moves to the STAUFF Fluid Power Kawasaki Team after two seasons in the Superbike class with Honda Racing.
