OMG Racing remains one of the newest teams on the Bennetts British Superbike Championship grid, joining the series in 2018.
In their opening season in action, the team took race wins in the Pirelli National Superstock Championship, before Ulsterman Josh Elliott line up alongside Luke Mossey on the OMG Racing Suzuki for the team’s second season of action. Former Superstock champion Elliott claimed the team their first race win in Bennetts British Superbike in 2019 at Silverstone.
In 2020, the newly renamed RICH Energy OMG Racing moved from Suzuki machinery to the new BMW S 1000 RR with Mossey and Héctor Barberá onboard, with the pair claiming top ten finishes.
For the 2021 season RICH Energy OMG Racing welcomed Kyle Ryde to the team, on a two-year deal, alongside Bradley Ray as the team lined up on the all-new BMW M 1000RR, after narrowly missing out on the Showdown, the team retained their line-up for the 2022 season but switched to Yamaha machinery for the first time.
Ray won the title for the first time as the team also celebrated a debut title, and returned with Ryde in 2023 along with Ryan Vickers. Ryde had his strongest finish to date finishing third overall with Vickers taking his first race win and the pair return as teammates in 2024.
OMG Racing Yamaha have a new partnership with GRILLA Hydration for 2024 as they prepare for the new season as the Officially Supported Yamaha Team within the series.
