Owner

The Team became Nitrous Competitions Racing formally after they took full control of the team from OMG Racing in 2025. David Williams, joint owner of Nitrous Competitions, is no stranger to the world of motorsport, competing himself on both two and four wheels, and can often be found at track days across the UK.
The team began as OMG Racing and in their opening season in action, the team took race wins in the Pirelli National Superstock Championship, before Ulsterman Josh Elliott line up alongside Luke Mossey on the OMG Racing Suzuki for the team’s second season of action. Former Superstock champion Elliott claimed the team their first race win in BSB in 2019 at Silverstone.
In 2020, the newly renamed RICH Energy OMG Racing moved from Suzuki machinery to the new BMW S 1000 RR with Mossey and Héctor Barberá onboard, with the pair claiming top ten finishes.
For the 2021 season RICH Energy OMG Racing welcomed Kyle Ryde to the team, on a two-year deal, alongside Bradley Ray as the team lined up on the all-new BMW M 1000RR, after narrowly missing out on the Showdown, the team retained their line-up for the 2022 season but switched to Yamaha machinery for the first time.
Ray won the title for the first time as the team also celebrated a debut title, and returned with Ryde in 2023 along with Ryan Vickers. Ryde had a strong finish in third overall with Vickers taking his first race win and the pair returned as OMG GRILLA Yamaha Racing teammates in 2024.
In 2024 Ryde delivered an incredible season to take the title and give the team their second Championship crown. Ryde claimed his debut title with OMG Racing in the most sensational Showdown in Championship history, winning by a single point after celebrating 18 podium finishes, and nine of those race victories. In 2025 OMG Racing announced during the Brands Hatch round that Nitrous Competitions would take over the running of the team.
Nitrous Competitions Racing Yamaha then announced that they would return to a two-strong rider line-up from Thruxton as Glenn Irwin joined the team. Ryde went on to successfully defend his title, making it two in a row and is now bidding to become the first rider to win consecutive titles for two different manufacturers as the team move to Ducati for the new season. Irwin returns alongside Ryde for the 2026 season.
