Brookes tops the Cataclean Speed League after round three

Josh Brookes and the MCE Ducati team lead the Cataclean Speed League after the third round of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship at Donington Park last weekend, with a combined top speed from the opening nine races of 1509.8mph.

The Cataclean Speed League records the riders’ top speed through the designated speed trap at each round of the championship, with the fastest speed from each race recorded to compile a cumulative total.

In the eBay Sprint race at Donington Park, Tommy Bridewell recorded the fastest top speed on the Oxford Products Racing Ducati with 168.1mph, with Tom Sykes (MCE Ducati) and Lee Jackson (Cheshire Mouldings FS-3 Kawasaki) both recording 167.7mph.

In race two, Sykes and Ryan Vickers (FHO Racing BMW) both reached a top speed of 168.6mph, whilst in race three the MCE Ducatis of Sykes and Brookes topped the speeds with 168.6mph before hitting the brakes for Roberts.
