Thomas Strudwick managed to keep Nikki Coates at bay to win by just 0.011secs in today’s Main Race.
The pair, who had been locked in a race-long battle up at the front, stuck close together for the full eight laps, but Coates struggled to find a way past. On the final lap he made a move up the inside but went too deep and Strudwick was able to hold the spot as the pair headed to the line.
Barry Burrell crossed the line third ahead of Christian Smith, as Robert Varey took fifth.
