Biography

Scott Redding joined the Bennetts British Superbike Championship in 2019, taking on arguably one of the biggest challenges of his career as he made the switch from MotoGP to join the PBM team and he didn’t disappoint by winning the title.

Redding began his career racing in the British Minimoto Championship in 2001 then in the MiniGP British Championship before he was selected for the Red Bull MotoGP Academy project in 2006.

Redding moved to the MotoGP World Championship paddock, and made history in 2008 in front of a delighted Donington crowd as he became the youngest rider of all-time to win a Grand Prix race.

In 2010 he joined the Marc VDS Team in Moto2, finishing eighth overall before his best season in 2013 as he fought for the title against Pol Espargaro, which saw Redding progress into the MotoGP class.

However a difficult season in 2018 with Aprilia left Redding hungry to recapture the passion for racing, which he did in BSB, winning the title ahead of Josh Brookes before moving to the World Superbike Championship with Ducati.
