Danny Kent is best known for his Moto3 World Championship victory, celebrating in 2015 when he lifted the MotoGP support class crown. The feat meant that he became Great Britain's first Grand Prix solo motorcycle world champion since Barry Sheene in 1977.
Kent began his career in Minimoto before progressing into the Superteen class before he was selected for the Red Bull MotoGP Academy, competing in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup, where he finished runner-up in 2010.
Kent then continued his career in both the Moto2 and Moto3 World Championships the following seasons, before his championship victory in 2015, which saw him promoted to the Moto2 class.
He first made his debut in the Bennetts British Superbike Championship in 2018 at Brands Hatch, competing in a handful of races.
Then in 2020 he competed in the Pirelli National Superstock Championship, finishing the season in sixth place in the overall standings.
A return to Bennetts BSB in 2021 will be his first full campaign in the series as he joins the Buildbase Suzuki team.
