Cox started competing at club racing level in the MRO Minitwin Championship in 2009, achieving a third place overall before progressing into the Triumph Challenge in 2012.

An injury-hampered season meant he finished fourth overall, and then he moved into the Supersport EVO class, followed by a campaign in the full championship a year later in 2016.

Cox combined the Supersport racing with endurance, winning in the 600 class. Cox has then competed in the Superstock and Ducati TriOptions Cup series, before making his move to Bennetts BSB last season.

Cox’s motivation for the forthcoming season is high as he ended cancer treatment at ahead of the opening test.
